DESCRIPTION:Visit campus at any time during 10 hours of discovery in the Ambler Arboretum's woodlands\, meadows and more and help us find out what is living in your own backyard! Join experts in helping to increase biodiversity on campus.\n\n\n\nFall BioBlitz 2019 will be held on Friday\, October 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Register for this free familiy-friendly event online at ambler.temple.edu/bioblitz!\n\n\n\nParticipants will learn how to identify plants\, animals\, fungi and more while noting what they find. These finds are added to an ever-growing account of the diversity in the Ambler Arboretum. Learn why diversity is important and can take their new-found skills home to their backyard or local park and start identifying what is there as well.\n\n\n\nBioBlitz will include a variety of tours highlighting mammals\, reptiles\, insects\, plants\, fireflies\, moths\, fungi\, birds and more!\n\n \n\nBioBlitz will be held in coordination with the Green Careers Fair\, which will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Learning Center on October 4. Students will have the opportunity to meet with and learn from representatives from a variety of green industry fields including conservation\, horticulture\, landscape architecture\, planning\, urban farming\, and much more!
