Attendees will also learn about the basics of EEO requirements in the workplace\; interviewing do's and don'ts\; fair recruitment practices and diversity quotas\; and the pitfalls of bias when evaluating applicants' background information.\n\n \n\nJim Devine\n\nJim is an attorney and human resources executive with over 25 years of HR leadership and employment law experience. Jim is currently the HR Practice Leader for Univest Insurance\, providing workplace guidance to mid-market clients and leadership oversight to a team of HR and payroll professionals. Prior to Univest\, Jim was director of HR compliance and ethics officer for Olympus Corporation of the Americas\, and previously served as President and CEO of the MidAtlantic Employers' Association.
