She manages the firm's U.S. demographics research while also contributing to regional analysis and forecasting. She is also the analyst for California\, the broader West region\, and Maryland. Laura holds a master's degree in Economics from the University of Delaware and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Washington College in Maryland.\n\n\n\n\n\nMatthew Walsh is an Associate Economist at Moody's Analytics. He is responsible for research\, modeling\, and quality control for a variety of housing metrics while also helping to manage broader monthly forecast updates for a wide variety of state and metro area variables.  Matthew also covers the economies of Washington and Tennessee. He received his bachelor's degree in Mathematical Economics from Temple University.
