Mitzvah Circle Foundation
Located in Harleysville, Mitzvah Circle Foundation meets the critical, material needs of people struggling with crisis, poverty, serious illness and homelessness. As a volunteer-based organization, they rely on the hands and hearts of the community to sort and organize donations and assemble essential supplies. These personalized boxes of necessities go directly to people in the most desperate situations, helping to break the cycle of poverty by giving people what they need to move forward. They have both on-site and off-site volunteer opportunities. Monday volunteers are welcome between 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Peaceful Living
Peaceful Living provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They believe that every individual has the right to belong in their community and try to help them achieve that all-important sense of community and participation. Their trained staff works with individuals on life skills, giving them a safe caring environment to live in, connecting them to their community and creating a valued and sincere friendship that can otherwise be difficult to create.
Peaceful Living is grateful for your interest and could use volunteers to help paint one or a few bedrooms or a lobby wall. There is also a need for assistance with giving the facility a good cleaning, on top of the regularly scheduled staff cleaning.
