Staff Accountant

This is a new position with potential for growth as part of a succession plan and the opportunity for hands-on learning in a busy but casual work environment serving a local community. The Staff Accountant is responsible for reconciliations, accounts payable, escrows and deposits, and will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director in the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will understand the basics of accounting, including trial balance, journal entries and month-end close, and be proficient in Excel. Bachelor of Science degree in accounting is required along with 3 years experience.
