Summary: Provide grounds keeping and maintenance services for all of Lakeside Educational Network’s facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and daily tasks as assigned at all Lakeside owned and leased facilities.
Follow and work from simple verbal instructions or written work orders and set preventative maintenance schedules.
Complete and return in a timely manner assigned work orders as instructed.
Daily opening and securing of Lakeside owned and leased facilities per training.
Collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the grounds and buildings are always properly cared for.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Facilities Management for the following Departments: Grounds, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Lakeside School Garage.
Learn Greenhouse responsibilities; planting, watering, fertilizing and general greenhouse operations.
Removal of snow after hours, including weekends when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
2 Years’ experience required with buildings and grounds maintenance.
Experience with various maintenance tools and equipment.
High School Diploma/GED.
Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record and own transportation.
Ability to work extended hours out of doors in varying weather conditions.
Effectively handle lifting and carrying of various objects weighting up to 50 pounds.
Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
