Strategically drive all industrial manufacturing operations to maintain the reputation of existing brand names and continue to promote growth by identifying new product needs and developing new products to meet the ever-changing needs of customers. The General Manager will work in conjunction with the ownership team to establish the strategic direction of the organization and set the goals and objectives of the company. Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, implementing strategic and tactical plans, management of all key functional departments, forecasting and management of key financial data, communication to all stakeholders and building a performance based culture. The GM will provide leadership regarding optimal organizational structure, staffing levels and training & development. Bachelor’s Degree Strongly Preferred. 10+ years of experience and training in Sales and Sales Management, Operations and Facilities Management in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities · Oversee sales for identified group of customer types to ensure sales targets and revenue goals are met · Oversee research and development to include development of new product lines and refinement of existing product lines · Oversee facilities to include financial analysis, maintenance of facilities, and equipment used · Oversee talent management to include recruiting, training, mentoring, managing performance · Ensure financial stability to include inventory control, warehousing, vendors, distribution, forecasting/budgeting and various accounting practices · Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements regarding exports, safety and health, environmental impact · Ensure quality standards are met by overseeing the implementation of the quality management process
