About Us

The Volunteer Medical Service Corps is the primary provider of emergency 911 ambulance service to the North Penn area. Organized in 1933, the VMSC serves the Boroughs of Hatfield, Lansdale, and North Wales as well as Hatfield, Towamencin, Montgomery and Upper Gwynedd Townships. The VMSC operates a fleet of eight advanced life suport amulances from three locatIions; 175 Medical Campus Drive in Hatfield, 1001 Stump Road in Montgomeryville and 988 Allentown Road in Upper Gwynedd. The VSMC employs over sixty professionally trained Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians who provide life-saving emergency medical care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days per year.
