The Giving Tree, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will host its 8th annual Working Hands event. Carrying out its mission of teaching children the importance of community service and giving back, the day will be filled with hands on activities and assembly line projects for children and teens (ages 5 through 18).
All projects will benefit individuals in need from various local charities. Examples include Manna on Main, The North Penn Boys & Girls Club, Souderton Meals on Wheels, Keystone Opportunity Center, various senior centers in the North Penn area and many others. Projects will benefit homeless individuals, families in need, children in crisis, local pediatric wards, senior citizens among many others.
